Vaux le Vicomte. This is the real Louis XIV style. Even the kitchens have been restored to the way they were. Le Vau: architect, Le Brun: designer, and Le Notre:  landscaper, first showed their talents here before to do so for the chateau and park in Versailles. On summer, on some evenings the park and chateau are illuminated with thousands of candles. It’s magical.

Electric vehicles are offered for  rent to help you get around the park. Every year gives more life to this extraordinary place with new finds: water games, fire works, and operas in open-air, fancy dress days… So much imagination and activity in  a beautiful place!
